Eligibility Criteria

- The candidates should be residents of any of the northern or eastern states.
- Only first-year students and undergraduate students can avail of this program.
- Students who have been admitted to a competent college/university/institute for the first year of any general degree/technical/professional/medical/paramedical programs.
- To avail of this scholarship program, the student’s household income should not be higher than Rs.4.5 lakh per year.

Candidates Ineligible For The Scholarship
The following applicant and students are not eligible for this scholarship program:
- Applicants who have availed of other scholarships for undergraduate degree courses through any program.
- Students studying courses through Virtual and Open Universities are not eligible to apply.
- Students pursuing a degree program or course cannot be awarded. Candidates who have applied through management quota.
- Candidates whose family’s annual income is above Rs.4.5 Lakh.
Educational Requirements
Candidates having NER domicile who have passed the Class XII or equivalent exam from a recognized board or school in NER, including the CBSE, ICSE, and NIOS exclusively in NER.
Furthermore, students pursuing general degree programs as well as technical and professional courses are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

- A Domicile certificate issued and attested by the competent authority.

- After that, you will get your permanent registration ID generated, which you can use for renewal and tracking the application’s status.
- Lastly, after submitting your Ishan Uday Scholarship online application, take a printout of the form for future use.
