Scholarship Schemes
E-Kalyan is different from other scholarship programs in India. Unlike others, authorities have classified E-Kalyan scholarship into three categories for the students of Jharkhand. The details of these categories are:
Pre-Matric Scholarship
This category is ideal for students up to 10th standard. Furthermore, candidates of the 10th standard can avail this scholarship category by filling out the designated Pre-Matric Scholarship. Under this category, students who still need to complete 10th-grade exams can apply for this scholarship.
Post-Matric (Within State) Scholarship

Post-Matric (Outside State) Scholarship

- The first thing to note is that this scholarship is valid for only permanent and local residents of Jharkhand.
- This scholarship scheme is only valid and available for SC, ST, and OBC backward classes and categories.
- For SC and ST, the household family income should be more than 2.5 lakhs. However, for the OBC category, the family income should be less or equal to 1.5 lakhs.
- Candidates studying in the class 10th and above can also apply for this state scholarship scheme.
- Under the new rules and regulations, general graduate courses from educational institutions outside the Jharkhand state, such as B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com with degrees, diplomas, and students doing other similar courses, are not eligible for these scholarships.
