Nabanna Scholarship 2023 CM Relief Fund Application Process
Nabanna Scholarship 2023 is an initiative of the Government of West Bengal. This scholarship is granted to brilliant students with academic achievements. This scholarship is only available for the people of West Bengal (Domicile Holders). The scholarship amount varies, but at a minimum, the holders receive 10,000 INR per anum.
Students who want to take their studies to the next level will not feel any economic pressure now. This scholarship is a relief for all those students who cannot take their academics to the next level because of economic uncertainty.
The application method for the scholarship is offline. All those students who have passed the 12th standard and are applying for graduation can avail of this scholarship. Also, the students who have passed the Madhyamik exams (10th Class) and seeking admission in the 11th or 12th standard can avail of this scholarship. The West Bengal CM Relief Fund provides this scholarship to assist the students.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To avail of the scholarship, a student must fulfill the following criteria. If any student does not comply with the requirements below, they will not be eligible for the scholarship.
- The student must be a resident of the West Bengal state.
- After clearing the Board of Secondary Education Exam, they must study in any West Bengal institute.
- The student must not be taking any other scholarship.
- The gross annum income of the student family must be less than INR 60,000/-
- The student must have secured at least 65% marks in the 10th Exam (Madhyamik) if applying for the 12th.
- At least 60% in the Higher Secondary Exam (12th standard) requires if applying for Undergraduate Level.
- The student with Honors subject needs at least 55% marks to apply for a postgraduate scholarship.

Documents Required for Application
Following are the documents required for the scholarship. You must attach these attested documents along with the application form. The Group-A government officer should attest to all the copies.
- Copy of the Mark sheets of all the previously passed exams.
- Copy of the Fee Challan.
- A copy of the reference letter from the MP/MLA to the Honourable Chief Minister stating that family income
- A Copy of a Monthly Family Income Certificate from anyone like DM/ SDO/ BDO / Group-A Gov and not from the officer below.
- For the JEE or equivalent exam, attested copies of the rank card and allotment letter from the selection committee are required.
- Self-declaration of the student duly signed stating the course details along with semester or year details and the receipt of other scholarship countersigned and stamped by the head of the institution.
- Your bank account details ( Branch Code, Branch Name, IFSC Code, Account Number, Bank Name) with a photocopy of the bank passbook.
